Hosted by Brevard Academy, this one-week day camp blends outdoor exploration, environmental learning, and challenge-based activities into an engaging, screen-free summer experience.

Program Overview

The Brevard Academy Outdoor Education Summer Camp is a skill-based, experiential program focused on outdoor survival, environmental awareness, and teamwork. Through guided instruction, exploration, and hands-on challenges, campers learn how to safely and responsibly engage with the natural world.

Both camp sessions share the same core skill themes, with instruction tailored to be developmentally appropriate for each age group.

Rising 7th-8th Grade

June 15–18 (Monday–Thursday), 9-3pm

Rising 5th–6th Grade

June 22–25 (Monday–Friday), 9-3pm

What’s Included

Cost includes:

  • All instruction and staffing (1:13 Teacher to Instructor Ratio)

  • Program materials and equipment

  • Camper take-home items

    • Each camper receives a Brevard Academy Outdoor Education Kit, including: Outdoor journal, Wildcraft items created during camp, Local plant and wildlife field guide, and a Brevard Academy Outdoor Education Camp t-shirt (provided on the final day).
