Jason Wolfe
I am from the upstate of South Carolina, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of South Carolina Upstate. I also studied journalism in college, and began my post college career writing for the Spartanburg Herald Journal. After working in advertising and then research for a number of years, I earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Converse College, in Spartanburg, SC, in pursuit of a longtime desire to enter the field of education.
In addition to teaching Social Studies in 7th and 8th grades, I coach various sports for our Bulldogs and enjoy getting involved in as many of our school's awesome activities as possible.
My family and I live in Brevard, one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. We enjoy hiking and exploring in Pisgah National Forest and DuPont State Forest. I also enjoy fly-fishing and spending time on the water in kayaks, canoes, and on paddle boards. I am the proud father of a Brevard Academy student and the proud husband of Brevard Academy’s 5th grade Social Studies/Language Arts Teacher, Mrs. Wolfe. I am honored and thankful to be part of Brevard Academy’s caring and dedicated team of educators, and I look forward to working with Brevard Academy's Middle School Scholars this year!
