Nonnie Cullipher
I've been teaching for 19 years in every grade level from 4th to 12th. Eight of those years have been at Brevard Academy, where my own daughter attended from kindergarten through 8th grade, and it's so wonderful to be returning to this amazing community.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts from St. John's College and a Master's Degree in Education from the University of New Mexico. Many years of my career have been spent in a therapeutic setting. A close-knit community like Brevard Academy that prioritizes educating the academic, social, and emotional needs of each student is an excellent fit for me and one that will utilize my skills and training.
My classroom will be a place of high expectations, a warm and caring environment, a ton of fun, a place to take risks, be creative, and a setting where students learn to take an increased responsibility for their own learning. It's going to be a fantastic year!
