Brevard Academy is excited to share that we will begin to implement the RCA House system with our Middle School students this school year! The House System is a dynamic, exciting, and proven way to create a positive climate and culture for students and staff. Using RCA’s methods will help us build character, relationships, school spirit, and a sense of belonging.

    • Altruismo (Black)  - The House of Givers

      • Altruismo is the house of generosity, where students learn the value of giving and supporting others in their community.

    • Amistad (Red) - The House of Friendship

      • Amistad represents kindness, trust, and positive relationships, teaching students the power of connection and compassion.

    • Isibindi (Green) - The House of Courage

      • Isibindi embodies bravery, strength, and resilience, encouraging students to face challenges with confidence and determination.

    • Rêveur (Blue) - The House of Dreamers

      • Rêveur inspires creativity, imagination, and big dreams in its members, fostering a spirit of curiosity and innovation.

    • Yes, parents are in the same house as their child. If there is a household with multiple middle school students, it looks like you have a house divided situation. Pick a house that is true to you and support both of  your children. 

    • Not yet, students are sorted in a house at the end of their 5th grade year here at Brevard Academy. 

    • Yes, each house has their own set of traditions. Families will be notified of the house traditions specific to their student and how they can become involved. 

    • Absolutely! Students are encouraged to show off their house pride. Our uniform policy has been updated to include house swag and merch.
