Welcome to fifth grade Math & Science!
There is so much for students to learn and so much growth to be made this year. I look forward to helping your child learn and grow! A little bit about myself: I have lived in Brevard for 20 years with my husband. In my free time, I help my husband with our business, The Duckpond Pottery.
I received my B.S. in Natural Resource Management and Recreation from the University of Florida and completed my K-6th Grade Teaching Certification at UNCA. I have two children who attend Brevard Academy.
I have worked with children in varied capacities over the years as a teaching assistant, pottery instructor, after school arts instructor with the Boys and Girls Club of Transylvania County, pottery program director at Rockbrook Camp for Girls, naturalist instructor with The Cradle of Forestry in America Interpretive Association, living history reenactor at a turn-of-the-century teaching farm, and as a ranger with the Florida State Park Service. I enjoy making connections between the Core Knowledge curriculum and my varied life experiences.
