Michelle Peterson
I began teaching at Brevard Academy in 2015. I moved to Brevard from South Dakota where I taught 4th Grade and Title Reading and Math for seven years. Before that, I lived in Salt Lake City and taught grades K-3. I earned my Master's Degree in Elementary Education. Prior to Utah, I taught Second grade in Texas for 2 years while my husband was going to school. I lived and grew up in Illinois. I attended Augustana College.
My husband's job as Director of Bands at Brevard College brought us to Brevard. We could not be happier. The weather is so wonderful and we hike to waterfalls as much as we can. Here is a picture of my new toy.
